This Victorian-style house, once known as the Scheller House, renovation began in 1999. In the Fall of 2001 it was reopened and Associated Students, SJSU moved in.

The Associated Students House offers two Conference rooms for student organizations, San José State University Departments and other communities to use. Requests for room set-ups or room changes are subject to service fees and are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Click here for a list of fees.




Conference rooms are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. To reserve a conference room you can call (408) 924-6242 or visit the A.S. House Front Desk.

Offices used by Associated Students’ departments surround the conference rooms. We request that users respect the other activities that are also held during working hours at the house.

Standing conference room reservations can only be booked up to four months in advance.




• A.S. Marketing & Events:  The offices of the Marketing & Events Manager and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator are located on the second floor of A.S. House. The Graphic Design room aand the Marketing Communications room are located on the second floor as well. The Events room is located on the first floor.

• Human Resources:  The HR department offices are located on the first floor of the A.S. House. Offices include the Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Coordinator, and the Human Resources Assistant..
