    This Victorian-style house, once known as the Scheller House, renovation began in 1999. In the Fall of 2001 it was reopened and Associated Students, SJSU moved in. The A.S. House is located on Paseo de San Carlos, next to the 4th Street Garage. It is the home of the A.S. Government, A.S. Administration and A.S. Marketing & Events departments.

In Spring of 2004 the A.S. Rec Area, located on the east and west sides of the A.S. House, was opened for public use. Between the A.S. House and 4th Street Garage there is the A.S. BBQ Pits. These BBQ pits host our famous free BBQ and noon concert series. Between the A.S. House and MacQuarrie Hall is a grass area. It is home to our open recreation activities and outdoor movie nights.

Both locations are open to the SJSU community for use.		  
         
  Associated Students Departments in the A.S. House:  
  The departments that are located at the A.S. House include :

• A.S. Government - Offices are located on the second floor of the A.S. House. This includes the offices of the A.S. President, Vice-President, Controller and the A.S. Board of Directors.

• A.S. Marketing & Events - Offices are located on the first floor of the A.S. House. This includes the offices of the director of blues festival, marketing, & graphics.

• A.S. Administration - Offices are located on the first floor of the A.S. House. This includes the office of the Executive Director and her Administrative Assistant.
