Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) - Stockton - San Jose

Altamont Commuter Express is a commuter rail service from the Central Valley (Stockton, Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy) and the East Bay (Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont) to San Jose Diridon Train Station.

ACE operates four roundtrip trains daily (primarily during the rush hours). Free wifi service is available on selected trains.

Fare types:

ACE offers one-way, round-trip, weekly, 20-ride, and monthly tickets. Frequent ACE riders are recommended to purchase 20-ride and monthly tickets. Fares are based on the number of zones that are partially or wholly traveled through by the passenger. ACE regular fare policies also applies to ACE/Amtrak buses.

SJSU students and employees may purchase ACE monthly passes and 20-ride tickets at a 50% discount. These tickets are only available at the Transportation Solutions Center on the main floor of the Student Union Building.

Parking:

All ACE stations (except San Jose) offer free parking on a first-come, first-served basis.

Access to SJSU:	From San Jose Diridon Station, take DASH (Downtown Area Shuttle) to the west edge of campus on 4th Street, or take eastbound VTA buses 63 or 64 to the northern edge of campus along San Fernando Street.

From SJSU

Access to SJSU:	From SJSU, take DASH (Downtown Area Shuttle) on 4th Street by San Fernando Street or Paseo de San Antonio, or take westbound VTA buses 63 or 64 from stops on San Fernando Street by 5th or 7th streets.
