Highway 17 Express - San Jose - Scotts Valley - Santa Cruz

Highway 17 Express Bus provides service between downtown Santa Cruz (Metro Center), Scotts Valley, and San Jose State University (San Fernando Street by 7th Street).

Service is offered 7 days a week. On weekends, service is available from San Jose Diridon Station only. Limited service to/from the Soquel Park and Ride is available on weekdays during peak hours. Travel time is about 1 hour and 10 minutes between SJSU and Metro Center.

The Metro Center offers connection to other Santa Cruz Metro buses serving throughout Santa Cruz County.

Fare types:

One way cash fare on the Highway 17 Express is $4.00. Day passes and monthly passes are available.

The price of the monthly pass is $90.00. SJSU students and employees can get an $11.00 discount by purchasing the monthly pass at the Transportation Solutions Center (located on the main floor of the Student Union).

Highway 17 Express day pass and monthly pass are valid on other Santa Cruz Metro and local VTA routes.

Parking:

Free parking is provided at Scotts Valley Transit Center and at Highway 1/Soquel Drive

Santa Cruz to SJSU

Schedules:	(Northbound) Weekday , Saturday , Sunday
Access to campus (weekdays):	The nearest stop for Highway 17 Express is on San Fernando Street by 7th Street, at the northern edge of campus.
Access to campus (weekends):	From the San Jose Diridon Station, take eastbound VTA buses 63 or 64 to the northern edge of campus along San Fernando Street.

SJSU to Santa Cruz

Access from campus (weekdays):	The nearest stop for Highway 17 Express is on San Fernando Street by 7th Street, at the northern edge of campus.
Access from campus (weekends):	From SJSU, take westbound VTA buses 63 or 64 from stops on San Fernando Street by 5th or 7th streets to San Jose Diridon Station.
