  SJSU to Oakland Airport
 
  Transit direction:

From campus, walk to the Santa Clara Light Rail station on 1st Street between San Fernando and Santa Clara streets. Take a northbound VTA express bus 180 or 181 to Fremont BART station (50 minutes).

At Fremont BART, board any train and disembark at Coliseum/Oakland Airport station (25 minutes).

At the Coliseum/Oakland Airport station, take AirBART shuttle bus to the Oakland Airport.

(VTA) Free for SJSU Students with a validated Tower Card, otherwise $4.00
(BART) Single ride between Coliseum/Oakland Airport and Fremont: $3.60

  Transit direction:

From the airport, board an AirBART shuttle bus to Coliseum/Oakland Airport station.

At Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station, transfer to a Fremont-bound train to Fremont. (25 minutes)

At Fremont BART station, board a VTA Express bus 180 or 181. Disembark the bus at Santa Clara Light Rail station on 2nd Street. (50 minutes) From the Light Rail station, proceed half a block on 2nd Street to San Fernando Street, turn left on San Fernando and walk 2 blocks to 4th Street - the north-west corner of campus.

(BART) Single ride between Coliseum/Oakland Airport and Fremont: $3.60

(VTA) Free for SJSU Students with a validated Tower Card, otherwise $4.00

  Transit direction:


From campus, take any westbound VTA bus 63 or 64 on San Fernando Street, or DASH ( Downtown Area Shuttle ) on 4th Street/Paseo de San Antonio, to San Jose Diridon Caltrain station (10 minutes).

Take a northbound Amtrak Capitol Corridor train to Oakland Coliseum station (59 minutes).

From the Oakland Coliseum Amtrak station, take a short walk to the BART station using the overpass, and board an AirBART shuttle bus there to the Oakland Airport.

From the airport, board an AirBART shuttle bus to Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. At the BART station, proceed to the Amtrak platform using the overpass.

Board a southbound Amtrak Capitol Corridor train to San Jose. (50 minutes)

At San Jose Diridon station, take DASH ( Downtown Area Shuttle ) to the west edge of campus on 4th Street by Paseo de San Antonio, or take eastbound VTA buses 63 or 65 to the northern edge of campus along San Fernando Street. (10 minutes)
