Walk to the west edge of SJSU the campus and cross 4th Street to Paseo de San Antonio (between San Fernando and San Carlos streets).

Walk three blocks westward to Paseo de San Antonio Light Rail station on 1st Street.

Purchase a ticket at a ticket vending machine on the platform and board a northbound Light Rail train toward either Alum Rock or Mountain View.

Disembark at Metro/Airport Station on 1st Street. Walk from the station platform to the Airport Flyer bus stop located by the curb.

Board the Airport Flyer, also known as VTA Bus 10, toward Santa Clara Caltrain. The bus will drop off passengers by Terminal A and C. The shuttle-ride takes about 10 minutes and is free.

At Terminal A and C, board Airport Flyer bus (10) toward Metro Light Rail (not Santa Clara Caltrain). 

At Metro/Airport Light Rail station, transfer to southbound Light Rail toward Santa Teresa or Winchester. Disembark Light Rail at Paseo de San Antonio Station and walk 2 blocks east from the station to SJSU.

See this map for boarding location for the 10 Airport Flyer bus. Bus stop locations may change. If you arrive at the Airport on the #10 bus. The same bus stop where you get off is also the same stop where you board the bus.

Take the bus displaying "Metro Light Rail" only. This bus will go to the Metro/Airport Light Rail Station on 1st Street. The bus-ride takes about 10 minutes and is free.

From the bus stop, walk across Metro Drive and 1st Street to the southbound Light Rail platform. 

Purchase a ticket at a ticket vending machine on the platform and board southbound Light Rail toward Santa Teresa or Winchester. 

Disembark Light Rail at Santa Clara Station on 2nd Street (SJSU stop). The ride on Light Rail will take less than 15 minutes. From the Paseo de San Antonio station, walk two blocks east along Paseo de San Antonio from 2nd Street to SJSU on 4th Street.
