  What is the mission of the Cesar Chavez Community Action Center?
The Cesar E. Chavez Community Action Center connects San Jose State University students with community service opportunities that deepen the educational experience while promoting the lifelong commitment to civic activism at the heart of the Cesar Chavez legacy.
 
     
  How can I get involved with CCCAC?
We have many different ways to get involved one would be the Alternative Spring Break travel on domestic and international service trips during spring break.  Trips include Tijuana, Mexico and New Orleans, Louisiana.  We also offer Students in Action Mentor students at after-school programs and youth centers.  Develop one-on-one relationships with middle school and high school students.  Young Philanthropist SJSU students teach middle and high school students the skills necessary to start up their own nonprofit businesses.  SJSU Music Project Serve fellowships at low socio-economic schools (K-6) to help improve music instruction.

  Is the CCCAC affiliated with Chavez Foundation?
The CCCAC is not directly affilieted with the Chavez Foundation though we do support it’s mission, legacy and are in constant communication with the staff of the Chavez National Foundation. In addition, may of our traning material and Chavez memorabilia is obtained through the Foundation.
