Agustin Lira & ALMA is an all-acoustic ensemble that brings to life the Chicano/Latino experience through musical presentations. Lira co-founded EL TEATRO CAMPESINO (Farmworkers' Theater) in 1965 during the Delano Grape Strike directed by Cesar Chavez. He teamed up with PATRICIA WELLS SOLORZANO in 1979 to form musical group Alma and RAVI KNYPSTRA joined the group in 1991.

Made up of Oakland-based educators Rosa González, Simón Hanukai and Luis "Xago" Juárez, headRush seeks to inspire social action within working class communities through guerrilla-style performance. They combine elements of Chicano Theatre and Spoken Word Poetry to create a unique rush of psycho-politico satire.
