Spartan Squad is the official student athletic booster program of San José State University supporting SJSU athletics. Founded in the Fall of 2005 by Matthew Olivieri and Brad Villeggiante, with support from Associated Students, the Squad increases SJSU pride, unity and spirit throughout the student body.
Current undergraduate and graduate students of San José State University can join Spartan Squad. Being a part of Spartan Squad is all about having PRIDE for being a student at San José State Univeristy. By choosing to become a member and wearing your Squad shirt at sporting games and other events, you are identifying yourself as someone who cares enough to uphold Honor and Tradition while being a student at the CSU's oldest University.
SJSU baseball is headed to the WAC Championship Tournament in Grand Prairie, Texas! The pool-play style tournament begins Wednesday and SJSU's first game versus CSU Bakersfield starts at 3:00 p.m. CST
The Spartans begin play at the 2013 NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Tuesday at the UGA Golf Course in Athens, Ga.
San Jose State punched its ticket to the WAC Championship Tournament as the eighth seed with an 8-5 win against CSU Bakersfield Sunday.
The Spartans blasted two solo homers, but San Diego State bombed a two-out grand slam in the fifth to eliminate the Spartans with a 5-2 win in the NCAA Tempe Regional, hosted by Arizona State.
San Jose State tied a season high with four errors and gave CSU Bakersfield a number of other free bases in a tough loss on Saturday afternoon.
